Financial Information


Seeking National Board Certification is no easy task and is extremely time intensive. National Board Certification requires:

  • An average of 200-400 hours of individual work
  • Complete support from colleagues and supervisors
  • Commitment to 1 to 3 years to complete 4 components

 

Many rewards come with achieving National Board Certification. Some of these include:

  • Additional salary increment
  • More attractive vocational path for all teachers
  • Retaining younger generations of teachers who are drawn to other careers offering greater promise for advancement
  • Higher level of prestige

 

How to Apply:

  • Click here for the scholarship application
  • Apply on National Board website
  • Pay $75.00 registration fee
    -notify
    Jennifer Gambrell  that you have started the process
  • Attend Regional or State meeting
  • Pay Component Fee
    -notify
    Jennifer Gambrell that you have started the process

 

NOTE - School districts can use title funds for the National Board process.
