Applications for Professional Land Surveyor Licensure
PLS Initial License Application Process
Applicants for Initial Licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor are NOT required to file an application with this office until such time as they have completed all education, examination, and experience requirements. Once a candidate has completed their qualifying degree and passed the Fundamental of Engineering or Fundamentals of Surveying, respectively, they may register directly with NCEES at NCEES.org to take their professional exam.
Choose one of the following forms to pursue licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor
ALL APPLICATION FORMS MUST BE TYPEWRITTEN OR COMPUTER GENERATED
Form A - Comity Applicants and Re-Licensure Applicants who are NCEES Record Holders
Form B - Comity Applicants and Re-Licensure Applicants who ARE NOT NCEES Record Holders
Form C - Initial Licensure Applicants
Form D, Part Two - for NCEES RECORD HOLDERS
After completing an approved education program curriculum, passing both the FS and PS Exams, and obtaining the required experience, you will submit Form D, Part Two to complete the licensure process.
Form D, Part Two - for NON-NCEES Record Holders
Use this application if you will NOT be requesting that NCEES transmit a NCEES Record to the Oklahoma Board as part of your initial licensure application.

Firm Practice:
If you plan to practice engineering and/or land surveying through a firm, you must download the Certificate of Authorization Application and submit it along with your PLS application.
