The OK.gov website was developed using responsive design, which adapts automatically to the mobile or web device being utilized. Users across an extensive range of devices and browsers can now easily access and navigate the information provided with minimal resizing and scrolling. Whether viewing the the site from a smart phone, tablet, PC, or Mac, responsive design adapts the layout of the website to the viewing environment of the end user’s device, giving OK.gov a thoroughly consistent look and feel across most platforms. The portal’s responsive design was accomplished utilizing elements of the new HTML 5 and CSS 3 programming language components, allowing for continued innovation in coming years.

Enhanced Google powered Search Bar

  • The “Companion Search” bar is an open data option that follows users as they scroll up and down the page, enabling easy search access.
  • The "Main Search" bar contains a “Navigate” button, which directs users to the most recent/popular content links for quickly accessing relevant information.
  • Social networking platforms, such as Facebook and Twitter, are prominently displayed in the top banner area to allow one-click access to share information from OK.gov. When scrolling down, the share buttons automatically appear in the Companion Search utility.

This site provides a listing of mobile applications provided by Oklahoma government. State and local government entities can submit their mobile applications for display on this site by clicking here. OK.gov reserves the right to decline any submissions if not appropriate for this site. 

OK.gov Application for iPhone ® & Android ®

Oklahoma Government's is now available on iPhone and Android mobile devices! Over 1,500 people have enjoyed the release of this new mobile application. OK.gov for mobile devices gives Oklahomans convenient access to Oklahoma government directly from an iPhone or iPod touch.  

Features of the OK.gov application include:

  • State Agency Lookup – Quickly find agencies by keyword or category search and displays contact information including main phone number, address and Web site address. Get directions or call directly from the application.
  • Professional Licensee Search – Easily search for or browse over 122 Oklahoma licensee types from over 20 state agencies.
  • Oklahoma Government News – Keep up-to-date with the latest news and announcements from Oklahoma state agencies.

OU2GO: The Official OU iPhone ® Application

OU2GO features a Norman campus map, weather information, and OU news feed along with access to OU’s YouTube channel, KGOU radio, and campus information.  Users may also listen to OU fight songs as played by the Pride of Oklahoma!

inTouch provides students, faculty, staff, and friends of Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, OK access to campus information. Features include campus news and information,Talon article and much more.

Police officers, who are not always in patrol cars with laptops, need access to federal and state databases to look up suspect warrants, license plates and driver’s licenses. The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office installed a mobile application solution and gave 52 deputies BlackBerry smartphones equipped with the new field-friendly technology.
