Registered Commercial Interior Designers Applications
In order to become a Registered Commercial Interior Designer in the state of Oklahoma, you must meet the criteria for education, examination, and experience, which can be found in OAC 55:10-5-10, or meet the requirements for equivalent standards, which can be found in OAC 55:10-5-10 (b).
Education: the applicant must have completed an interior design degree from an CIDA-accredited university.
Examination: the applicant must have passed the examinations administered by CIDQ or its successor.
Experience: the applicant must provide evidence of two years, or 3,250 hours, of acceptable training credits.

Fee for Low-Income Individual
Upon presentation of satisfactory evidence that an applicant is a low-income individual, the Board will grant a one-time, one-year waiver of any fees associated with the license or registration. To read more about it, please download this document.
