The Pardon and Parole Board serves the citizens of Oklahoma by making careful and informed decisions, focusing on public safety, offender accountability and re-entry, and victim rights.
The Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board envisions a parole and pardon system that promotes and utilizes fair and equitable decision-making, reduces risk to the public, includes victim concerns, and encourages successful inmate re-entry.
The Pardon and Parole Board strongly believes and is committed to the ethical, unbiased, and professional performance of duties and will continually strive for excellence and fairness by making decisions that maintain a delicate balance between public safety, victim’s rights, and the successful re-integration of the offender.
