The Pardon and Parole Board adopts administrative rules to clarify and explain statutory provisions. Before a new administrative rule or an amendment to an existing rule goes into effect, the Pardon and Parole Board publishes two public notices, a proposal notice and an adoption notice, in the Secretary of State's Oklahoma Register. This is available on the Secretary of State's web site. Go to www.sos.ok.gov to go directly to the Oklahoma Register. The public is provided an opportunity to provide input and comment on administrative rules.
The Rules of the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board are found in the Oklahoma Administrative Code (OAC), Title 515. The Secretary of State's Office maintains the OAC on their web site at, www.sos.ok.gov. Click on Search Code, then enter Pardon and Parole Board. Click Search.
