DA Child Support Services is a special part of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services that helps children receive the financial support they deserve from both parents.  We work with parents, custodians, courts, employers, and other agencies to set child support orders and ensure that parents pay the support they are supposed to pay.

Research shows that children who have financial support from both of their parents are more likely to succeed in life.  A child receiving reliable support is more likely to continue his or her education and have stable relationships of his or her own.  Paying child support is one way for parents to play a part in helping their child succeed.

Who is eligible for our services?
Any custodial person (the person with custody of the child) or non-custodial parent (the parent ordered to pay) may request child support services.

How do we collect child support?
The easiest way to collect child support is to deduct it from the non-custodial parent’s paycheck.  We receive the money from the employer and send it out.  This is called an income assignment and requires an income withholding order.
If payments are missed, our goal is to get a monthly repayment plan toward the past-due support in addition to any current support owed.

Employers should contact the CSS Employer Services Center at 1-866-553-2368 to inquire about setting up EFT payments
