Wagoner County Clerk Lori Hendricks has been appointed to the County Clerk Advisory Board by officials with the County Training Program.
The program is part of the Cooperative Extension Service at Oklahoma State University.
According to Hendricks, the County Clerk Advisory Board assists the County Training Program in meeting the objective to oversee the professional development of county offices.
In turn, the board provides input for the County Clerk Certification Program – a series of courses designed to improve the efficiency and technical skills of personnel in the County Clerk’s office.
Members also provide support and advice for updates in the Handbook for County Clerks of Oklahoma.
“This is a great honor for me and I look forward to working with OSU to expand and improve this already impressive program,” Hendricks said.
The County Training Program is mandated by state statute and is authorized under the Commission on County Government Personnel and Training.
