Taxpayers who fail to pay estimated tax payments may be subject to interest on the amount underpaid.
If at least 66 2/3% of your gross income for this year or last year is from farming, estimated tax payments are not required.

Identity theft happens when someone steals your personal information and uses it without your permission. Or more specifically, identity theft occurs when a person knowingly or intentionally obtains personal identifying information of another person; and uses, or attempts to use, that information with fraudulent intent, including to obtain, or attempt to obtain, credit, goods, services, any other thing of value, or medical information in the name of another person without the consent of that person.
One of the most common forms of tax-related identity theft happens when thieves use stolen Social Security Numbers (SSN) to file fake tax returns and claim refunds before the real owner of that SSN has a chance to file their real return.
When e-filing, you may be asked to provide information from your driver's license.
To combat stolen-identity tax fraud, the state of Oklahoma is requesting additional information from taxpayers. This added voluntary measure is intended to ensure your tax refund goes to you.
When e-filing, provide your driver's license or state-issued card information when prompted. Providing this identity information is voluntary and we will not reject your return if the information is not provided.
What should I do if I think someone has filed a fraudulent return using my name or Social Security number?
