2015-2016 School Year Drill Reporting
The 2015-2016 School Year Drill Reporting Forms are now active for all Oklahoma Schools to report their school safety drills to our office. Please remember to update your Internet Bookmarks with the latest page: ok.gov/schoolsecurity/DRILL_REPORTING. New additions to Drill Reporting include a separate 'Fire Drill' reporting option, the ability to list your local fire, police, and emergency management contact, and an adaptive feature that allows drill report submissions from a mobile / tablet device. For questions regarding Drill Reporting, please contact Jennifer Newell, OSSI Program Manager, at (405) 425-7299.
Oklahoma's School Security Tipline
OSSI is proud to announce that our Tipline Program, Tipline.OK.gov, is available for anyone to report suspicious activity or a possible threat to any Oklahoma Schools. Reporting may be performed via telephone or electronically and citizens may report any situation or concern that could compromise the safety or security of any Oklahoma school, or school sanctioned event. Reports may be made anonymously and the Tipline is monitored 24/7.
School Safety and Security Training
Thanks to the generous funding from the Oklahoma State Legislature, OSSI is able to provide school safety and security courses for Oklahoma education professionals, law enforcement officers, and emergency responders at NO COST. If you would like to attend an OSSI Training, check out our Training Calendar to register or Contact Us to request a training course for your school or agency.
