School Security Drills
During the 2nd Regular Session of the 55th Legislature, Oklahoma State Lawmakers have amended Title 70, Section 5-148 of the Oklahoma State Statutes concerning school security drills. The Oklahoma School Security Institute worked with Representative Mark McCullough and Senator Joseph Silk to pass HB 2931 which clarifies language in the law concerning required drills for schools. This change will go into effect on July 1, 2016.
