Early this afternoon, members of the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Dana Preston Duncan (dob: 3/6/1969). The case was initiated by a Montana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force member who developed an investigative lead that Duncan was distributing child pornography from Oklahoma to someone in Montana. The case was assigned to an OSBI agent.
The investigation revealed Duncan is a registered sex offender with the Oklahoma City Police Department handling his registration requirements. Agents arrested Duncan when he showed up at the police department for his weekly check-in. A search of Duncan’s cell phone contained evidence of trafficking and exploitation of children for sexual purposes. The case remains under investigation to determine if any local children are victims. Duncan will be booked into the Oklahoma County Jail for trafficking in children, possession of child pornography, two counts of distribution of child pornography, and violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
