Early Monday (12/30) morning, the McCurtain County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI assistance with a reported homicide. The sheriff’s office received information that Amy Endsley, 38, had been killed and her body dumped in the county. This morning (12/31), OSBI agents interviewed Eddie Virgin (d.o.b. 7-12-1961) in Texarkana, Arkansas, and obtained information about the location of Endsley’s body. A McCurtain County deputy located the body northeast of Wright City. Endsley died of apparent gunshot wounds. A first degree murder warrant was issued for Virgin. He is jailed on that warrant in Arkansas while awaiting extradition back to Oklahoma. Both Virgin and Endsley are from the McCurtain County area.
