Agents Help Search for Missing Cotton County Woman
The Cotton County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI assistance in a missing person’s case Sunday. Teresa Speir (d.o.b. 12/21/1959) did not show up for work Sunday. The manager of the EZ Go at Interstate 44 and the Walters exit called Speir’s family worried about her. Law enforcement officials went to her home near Devol and found a scene that concerned them about Speir’s welfare.
OSBI agents, county deputies, and others have searched more than 500 acres of land in the area. OSBI agents have also collected possible evidence at the woman’s home for laboratory testing and have interviewed co-workers and friends.
Speir’s was last seen Saturday evening when her shift ended at the convenience store. Her vehicle was found at her home.
If anyone has seen or heard from Speir’s since Saturday at about 11 p.m., please contact with the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017.
