McClain County Sheriff's Office Searching for Missing Man

The McClain County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man missing since July 19th. Bill Dwayne Shipley, 47, of Goldsby was last known to be in the Norman/Goldsby area. Shipley is 5’9” tall, weighs 190 pounds, has blue eyes, and brown hair. Two of his vehicles are also missing – a 2002 Chevy S10 Extended Cab 4X4, deep red in color, with an Oklahoma license tag number FSH 262, as well as his 1988 Jeep Comanche Pickup Truck , deep red in color, and an Oklahoma license tag of LBD 638. The Jeep Comanche vehicle has a ladder rack and aluminum tool box in the bed.

Due to Shipley never having left the area without notifying someone, law enforcement considers Shipley missing and endangered. Shipley often went out of town for work, which is why he was not reported missing for several weeks. He was a painter by trade.

If anyone has information as to Shipley’s whereabouts or the two listed vehicles, please call either the McClain County Sheriff’s Office at 405-527-4600 or the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017.
