Missing Woman From Fletcher Found in Texas
This morning OSBI agents with the help of Texas Rangers and the Corpus Christi Police located 39-year-old Tiffiny Bray. Bray was reported missing July 20th by her fiancée when she did not return from a shopping trip to Lawton the day before. Comanche County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI assistance Thursday, July 22nd. At that time, OSBI determined Bray was in south Oklahoma City Monday, July 19th, in her fiancée’s pickup truck. Thursday, July 22nd, Bray’s fiancée received information from her that she was being held against her will in Lawton.
Since then, OSBI agents have worked non- stop tracking leads. Leads first took agents to Palestine, Texas. Investigators confirmed she was there in early August. Agents then followed leads to a hotel in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she and a companion were detained this morning at 9:30.
Comanche County District Attorney Fred Smith has filed warrants against her for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and obstructing officers. Once the warrants were faxed to agents in Texas, Bray was placed under arrest by Corpus Christi officers. She now awaits extradition back to Comanche County.
OSBI plans to seek restitution of the expenses incurred during this investigation. That includes hundreds of man hours and extensive travel.
