OSBI Arrests Man in Recent Jackson County Murder
Monday evening, the Jackson County Sheriff’s office requested OSBI help with a murder investigation in Eldorado. Andrew Russell White, 50, was murdered inside Dub’s bar which he leased and managed for several years.
The medical examiner performed an autopsy and determined White had been shot one time in the head.
Throughout the week, OSBI investigators conducted several interviews which lead to Joshua Dylan Lusk. Agents arrested Lusk, 24, Thursday evening in the OSBI facility in Lawton after an interview. Lusk was booked into the Jackson County Jail on a complaint of first degree murder. Arraignment is scheduled for Friday afternoon.
Lusk knew White and had frequent the bar for several years since Lusk grew up in a small town just across the Red River from Dub’s bar. The investigation into the motive continues.
