OSBI Investigates Shooting Death in Adair County
OSBI agents were called to the scene of a shooting death north of Stillwell in the early evening hours of Sunday, April 2, 2006.
Jeremy Fixin, 33 years old of Adair County, was shot and killed outside the Doyles Apartments. Agents have not made an arrest, but OSBI is searching for a possible witness, Marcus Daughtery.
Daughtery, 32 years old, and Mira Colston, a 24-year-old female companion, left the area in Colston’s white Pontiac Sunfire. “We hope to talk with Daughtery to see if he can help us with information on this case,” Jessica Brown, OSBI PIO, says. “At this time we do not consider Daughtery or Ms. Colston suspects in the killing.”
OSBI urges anyone with information on the whereabouts of either Daughtery or Colston to please call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
