CHANGE OF ADDRESS and/or EMPLOYMENT
ALL go through our Portal...
BROWSER NOTE: We have learned that it is best to use Internet Explorer (IE) or Safari as your browser when you are applying...Firefox, for example, has presented frustrations and is apparently not wholly compatible with this portal's processes. If you are using Firefox and are encountering errors, you will probably want to switch to IE or Safari (or use one of those first) because applicants do not seem to have issues with these browsers.
If you're on your way to renew your license, before you do that,
the email reminder you got to remind you of this referenced
a more detailed letter to READ... AND we have updated our
GUIDE to walk you through the renewal process... CLICK HERE TO READ IT
ALSO... this year, during renewal, you will be asked for your
NAB ID NUMBER
This is a unique ID number for you (typically Starts with an R with 7 digits behind it)
MANY (most?) of you already have this number and have been using it for NAB
Approved CE Courses...
If you ever intend to attend any such courses, you will need to have that number...
IF you want CE credit for it.
The CE Providers (approved by NAB) do NOT issue certificates any longer - they
upload their attendance list in this new NAB CE Registry and IF you want to print
a certificate, you can go do that yourself. But those CEs will be tracked there and
you CAN (and probably SHOULD) upload your locally (OSBELTCA) approved CEs
(such as Health Department Provider Training CEs) so those CEUs, too, can be
tracked in this new system which is FREE to you to use!
The reason we are asking for this number during the renewal process is to HELP you...
We will have this number printed on your Annual Card so you will be able to find it
when you attend those NAB Approved CE courses (because they will be asking for
this number to give you attendance credit).
Something else we hope you will consider...
When did you get your license? When you applied, the Board asked for a picture
of you... If that was a long time ago, you might want to consider giving us a more
It's just a matter of uploading it in your documents... a selfie on your phone is good
and, in a lot of cases, anything may be better than that look you had in 19xy (?) or
when you first applied (a long time ago for some of you...). If you didn't apply online
and applied with a hard copy application, that was at least 6 years ago...
We'd like an updated picture of many of you if you don't mind.
Thanks in advance!
You can (and should) access and read the renewal letter HERE.
"IF" YOU'VE READ THIS BEFORE...

please read the following FIRST
...and consider reading a "guide" we've provided to help you.
Highly suggest that all new applicants read about Licensure Qualifications
This portal is where administrators need to go (year 'round) to:
- Update your personal data (home address, phone number)
-- If your email address changes, contact us (Pam for NHAs and Certified Assistants and AU students; Ginger for all others)
-- Since your email address is your USERID, we will have to change that manually for you
--- We recommend you use your "personal" (at home) email address rather than your "work" email address but use the one you READ regularly!!
-- CLICK HERE for a "Tutorial" or "Guide" to explain to you "how" to change your address, place of employment, and to UPLOAD files (such as CE)
--- Opens in a new window...
- Update your place of employment to include where you are administrator of record
- Upload copies of your CE certificates...optional but a good option and a good habit to develop!
-especially for non NCERS approved programs which you CAN still upload in the NAB CE Registry as well or instead...
- Renew your license annually (usually between November 1 and December 31 each year...)
This is where new applicants (students) need to go to:
- Apply for AU (NHA students)
- Apply for licensure (all types)
-- Nursing Home Administrators (Provisional, Temporary, Certified Assistants, by Endorsement...)
-- Residential Care/Assisted Living Administrators
-- Residential Care Administrators
-- Adult Day Care Administrators
New Applicants (only) will need to "Enroll" first (and follow the instructions received in the email to complete the process)
All others (already licensed or in AU or applied) will already have a USERID and PASSWORD and should not "enroll" again (please don't).
-- IF YOU ARE ALREADY LICENSED (or have started an application in this system), and cannot recall your USERID or PASSWORD, call us!
Please, Don't re-enroll.
Also, please note - you cannot share an email account with another licensed person in this system. Your email account is your unique USERID for your own personal licensure data.
Click THIS LINK to enter the portal now
(should open in a new window...and you probably will want to add that page to your own favorites as this IS where you need to return annually to renew, update your address, etc.)
