How do I apply?
You must apply online. Enter the website, www.jobs.ok.gov, and review the vacancies listed under "Current Employment Opportunities." When a vacancy interests you, click on that job title, complete an online application and submit. It is important to read all of the information provided.
Can you walk me through the application process?
In order to make this process as easy as possible, the process is clearly explained as you progress through each page of the application. It clearly states what information to provide on that specific page. What happens to my application after I have submitted it? How long will it take to review my application?
A staff member will review you application within 48 hours of receipt to determine if you meet the minimum requirements for the vacancy. You are advised by email of the decision. If you are eligible and a test is required, the testing information is included in the email.

When will I know I have an interview?
After an announcement closes, the hiring agency can request the list of eligible applicants. The hiring agency is responsible for contacting eligible applicants within the hiring rule of 10, conducting interviews and hiring the applicant of their choice. The hiring rule of 10 means that the hiring agency must hire an applicant whose score has placed him/her in the top ten highest ranking scores.
