Comanche Nation College Film Festival
On April 8, 2017, the Comanche Nation College will be hosting their 13th annual Film Festival in Lawton, Oklahoma. Since their inaugural film festival in 2004, the Comanche Nation Film Festival has strived to showcase the finest of Indigenous creative expression and storytelling through film.
The Comanche Nation College is now calling for film submissions by Indigenous filmmakers, of various categories and length, appropriate for all ages. With filmmaker’s permission, selected films may be added to the Comanche Nation College’s Library. Films need to be submitted with the following info – labeled filmmaker name, contact info and permission to show at the festival. Filmmakers need to indicate if they will be able to attend the festival for presentation of their film. Submissions must be signed and dated with permission for film to become a part of the Comanche Nation College’s library collection.

Tulsa American Film Festival (TAFFest) is now accepting films in all lengths and genres for inclusion in the 2017 event October 11-17. TAFFest concentrates on American-made independent projects. Filmmakers at any level of experience are invited to submit. Short and feature films, screenplays and television episodes are to be considered.

The call for entries is now open for the 3rd edition of All Lights India International Film Festival (ALIIFF). The festival is a four-day showcase up to 250 multi-genre films from all over the world, taking place December 1-4, 2017.
The festival hosts gala events, screenings, award ceremonies and special presentations. ALIFF hosts a large number of participating filmmakers from our backyard and around the world and connects them with the audience through post-screening question and answer periods, mingling at our events and through panels and film talks open to the general public.
Preference will be given to submissions that have not been distributed/screened theatrically prior to the 2017 festival. All submissions are screened and evaluated by ALIIFF Preview and Selection Committees. Their reports and decisions are final and confidential.
