ATTENTION ALL OKLAHOMA NONRESIDENT ADJUSTER APPLICANTS WITH A DESIGNATED HOME STATE ("DHS")
If your resident state does not have an adjuster licensing requirement, please read and understand the following information.
If you are choosing to designate TEXAS, INDIANA, WYOMING or LOUISIANA as your “designated” home state, please read and understand the following information PRIOR to submitting your application for an Oklahoma nonresident adjuster license:
You MUST hold the specific DHS adjuster license in those states prior to submitting your Oklahoma application. Generally, holding a regular nonresident adjuster license in any one of those respective states doesn’t automatically grant you DHS status in those particular states. If you have questions about the type of adjuster license held in a state mentioned above, please contact that specific state’s insurance department directly.
