Providing Housing Resources With an Eagerness to Serve
With this program, OHFA works with non-profit organizations, public agencies, units of local government, tribal governments and private developers to assist low income households with housing needs. OHFA is the HUD designated State HOME Participating Jurisdiction. The cities of Oklahoma City, Lawton, Norman and the Tulsa Consortium also administer HOME funds.
HOME funds may be used to provide development costs for the new construction or acquisition and rehabilitation of affordable housing; to provide assistance for home purchase; or to assist low income renters. Developments must meet multiple requirements.
Because only minor changes were made to both the 2021 HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) and National Housing Trust Fund Program (NHTF) Applications, OHFA has decided not to conduct an application training for these programs in 2021. However, OHFA Staff is available to answer any questions you may have and/or to hold one-on-one virtual technical assistance meetings to ensure all potential applicants understand these programs thoroughly.
If you have any questions, please contact Danette Carr, Housing Development Allocation Supervisor at (405) 419-8136 or email@example.com.
