Providing Housing Resources With an Eagerness to Serve
The Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency is governed by a Board of Trustees appointed by the governor. They serve in five-year staggered terms, volunteering their time to assure the agency is serving Oklahomans in need of affordable housing. Trustees may be reached by email or by phone.
Michael Buhl, Chair
Mike Buhl was appointed as trustee and chair of the OHFA Board of Trustees by Governor Kevin Stitt in May 2019. Buhl is the sole owner and managing broker of Commercial Realty Resources Co. A 34-year commercial real estate veteran, he specializes in the multifamily industry. He has a long record of guiding local, regional and national clients through his understanding of the sales process from contract to closing. CRRC, headquartered in Norman, also has offices in Tulsa and is licensed in Kansas and Arkansas.
Jeff Scott, Vice Chair
Jeff Scott is a native of Bartlesville and has lived in Tulsa since his graduation from OSU in 1973, with a degree in Business Administration. His entire career has been in commercial real estate. Scott formed Scott Realty Company in 1988. Scott is presently serving as Chairman of Tulsa’s Downtown Coordinating Council. He was first appointed in May 2016 with a term ending in 2021.
Scott McLaws, Secretary-Treasurer
Scott McLaws serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for First Fidelity Bank. A Certified Public Accountant, he has been in the banking industry for 26 years. He has also worked in public accounting. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BBA degree in Accounting. An Oklahoma City native, he resides in Edmond. McLaws has served on several nonprofit boards and is a member of the Lyric Theatre Board, where he previously served as President. McLaws joined the OHFA board of trustees in 2017. His term expires in 2022.
Ann Felton Gilliland, Member
Ann Felton Gilliland joined the OHFA Board of Trustees in May 2015. She serves as Chairman and CEO of Oklahoma's largest Habitat for Humanity affiliate, Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity. COHFH builds at least 45 new homes per year in urban, suburan and rural areas of central Oklahoma, placing more than 800 families in new or rehabbed homes since 1987. Felton's term ends May 2020.
Heath Collins, Member
Heath Collins was appointed as trustee of the OHFA Board of Trustees by Governor Kevin Stitt in September 2019. He was appointed to serve the unexpired term of Debbie Blackburn. A native Tulsan, Collins graduated from Union High School and attended Oklahoma State University where he obtained his Business Administration Degree in 1996. Collins has worked several years in the lending industry and founded Midtown Mortgage in 2011 where he helps home buyers achieve their goals of home ownership. His term expires May 2023.
Joi Love, Resident Board Member
Joi Love has been appointed as the Resident Board Member on the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency’s Board of Trustees. She will serve a term ending May 1, 2020. In this capacity, Love will vote on matters concerning OHFA’s Housing Choice Voucher and Performance Based Contract Administration programs. A lifelong Oklahoma City resident, Love attended college at Oklahoma City Community College and Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City. She is currently employed at Farmers Insurance NDC.
