Chart: Employment and Unemployment
Employment v. Unemployment December 2015:  Oklahoma's unemployment rate declines to 4.1 percent, while payroll employment sheds 5,100 jobs in December.
Unemployment Insurance Claims Week ending 1-16-2016: Both initial and continued claims for unemployment benefits decline for the second consecutive week.
County Unemployment Rates December 2015: Unemployment rates up over the month in only 2 of 77 Oklahoma counties.
State Unemployment Rates December 2015: December jobless rates down in 25 states including Oklahoma, up in 14 states, no change in 11 states and D.C.
Three-Month Average Employment Change December 2015: Three-month average employment change declines 2,700 while Oklahoma sheds 5,100 jobs over the month.

Picture of Business Employment Dynamics Business Employment Dynamics:  The Business Employment Dynamics program is a set of statistics generated from the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages, or ES-202, program. These quarterly data series consist of gross job gains and gross job losses statistics from 1992 forward. These data help to provide a picture of the dynamic state of the labor market.
