The mission of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s Civil Rights Division is to ensure equal employment opportunity within ODOT, to level the playing field for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) by providing full and meaningful participation opportunities in ODOT’s federally funded highway projects and to plan, implement and provide guidance to prevent discrimination in federal aid programs and activities. As a public agency, ODOT is responsible for the assurance of full and open participation in the process of highway construction and in the receipt of benefits derived from highway construction and related activities.
The Oklahoma Department in Transportation (ODOT), in accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation, 49 CFR Part 26, hereby announces its three (3) year FFY 2017-2019 goal of 9.20% (Race Conscious 3.48%; Race Neutral 5.72%) for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) construction and consultant projects. In accordance with Title 49 CFR 26.45, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) announces its proposed FTA Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal for Federal Fiscal Years 2018 through 2019 at 0.00%. The goal shall be applicable to the FTA DBE goal on opportunities with ODOT's Transit Division pending approval from FTA.
