Here you will find the resources to locate an intern, a research-based internship or a faculty sponsored research opportunity. We have created a database that includes available internships for students and faculty that can provide valuable experience. We encourage students to participate in the intern program as it provides you with invaluable work experience. Not only does it look good on a resume but you may connect with your future employer.
As a company, you will have the ability to search for students that meet your specific requirements. There are several advantages to hosting an intern. It allows you, the employer, to screen for future employees while subsidizing labor and supply costs for research and development. After the internship is completed, you can evaluate your criteria for future interns and employees.
An additional resource for companies is the OCAST funded Research and Development Intern Partnership (RDIP). This program provides state funds to companies which they can utilize to pay for part of the internship. For more information including important deadlines, check the OCAST website.
