RAPE SUSPECT ARRESTED, MARIJUANA OPERATION SEIZED DURING SEARCH
A rape suspect is in custody and an indoor marijuana growing operation has been dismantled. Mark Woodward, Spokesman for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics says his agency was assisting Oklahoma City Police and the US Marshals Service with a search warrant today at a home at 1221 N.W. 99th when the discovery took place.
"Officers entered the home and found a suspect wanted in a rape case. While searching the home, 26 marijuana plants were found growing inside a closet."

The 26 plants have the potential to yield approximately $30,000 in bulk processed marijuana. Woodward says a roommate of the rape suspect is wanted for questioning in connection with the marijuana growing operation. He is identified as 25-year old James Dale Yearby.
