43rd Annual Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Investigators Course
The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics will be hosting the 43rd annual Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Investigator Course from September 17th to September 28th, 2018. The course will be held at the OBN headquarters in Oklahoma City and is accredited through CLEET for 80 hours of continuing education. This course is designed to provide attendee with the foundational skills to conduct drug investigations. Topics covered will include: drug identification, use of confidential informants, undercover operations, surveillance operations, prescription drug investigations, clandestine laboratory recognition, and numerous other topics. This course will involve classroom and scenario based training.
There is no cost to enroll in this training. Each attendee must be in an “on duty” status with their agency while in attendance. Each attendee is responsible for their own lodging and travel expenses while attending the course.
Class size will be limited to 40 students.

Drugs of Use and Abuse
Description: An all-encompassing presentation that provides insight on commonly used and abused drugs, as well as individual drug information regarding the origin, commonly associated names, paraphernalia, and side effects of each drug.
Individual Drug Presentation
- Methamphetamines & Amphetamines
- Cocaine and Crack Cocaine
- Hallucinogens Including PCP and LSD
- Marijuana Concentrates
Description: individual presentations provide a deeper understanding of a specific drug in regards to the history, origin, commonly associated names, paraphernalia, and side effects.

Presentations times are individually tailored to fit your needs. Presentations can be quick with a duration time as short as 15 minutes or can be as long as 2 hours (or any amount of time in-between).
