Saturday, May 12. For Nicoma Park residents only, proof of residency required. This year's clean-up will be held at the City Park at 1801 N. Hiwassee. Gates will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Bulk Pick-Up Restrictions:
You must have trash service in order to participate in the Curbside Pick-Up. Residents will be serviced along with the current trash collection and are limited to three (3) cubic yards of waste per residence on the bulk pick-up day. Three (3) cubic yards is equivalent to a level pick-up truck bed. Rule of Thumb: if it’s not on this restricted list and it can fit into the back of a pick-up bed.
Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners are accepted provided the Freon has been property drained by a qualified technician, certification issued and placed on the unit.
Brush is to be cut into 4-foot lengths, tied and bundled.
Water tanks—must be drained.
Furniture and mattresses
No medical/hazardous waste of any kind.
No poisons, acids/caustics, and explosives
No dirt, rock, bricks or concrete.
No sewage and liquid waste.
No dead animal carcasses.
No propane tanks, degreasers, lubricants, brake fluid, antifreeze, batteries, tires and rims, and car batteries,
No large construction and demolition materials.
All bulky waste must be placed at curbside no later than 6 a.m. on the day of your pickup.
Small items or loose items must be in containerized plastic bags or boxes so they do not spill.
