Attention: The 2016-17 NIMS REPORTING PERIOD HAS CLOSED

 

Them 2017-18 NIMS implementation objectives will be released by FEMA after the first Quarter of 2017.   All jurisdictions will be notified when the reporting period opens.

State, Local, Tribal Agencies and Jurisdictions seeking NIMS implementation certification for preparedness  grants, (after the close of NIMS reporting period), must contact Pat King via email: pat.king@okohs.ok.gov  to schedule on site NIMS Compliance monitoring.   

 

Documents required for Compliance Monitoring include: 

1.  Formal NIMS Adoption
2.  Response Standard Operation Procedures/Guidlines
3.  Documented Training Requirements for Employees/Volunteers
4.  Emergency Operation Plans (Counties and Municipalities)
5.  Resource Inventory (Deployable equipment only)

 

According to Grant Programs Directorate, Grantees will continue to report annually on their adoption and implementation of NIMS.  The NIMS Assessment continues to be updated each year to allow users the ability to provide a more accurate reflection of NIMS implementation within their jurisdictions and to request any tools,  training, or guidance that may be helpful in advancing their implementation of NIMS
