ATTENTION:

The 2017 NIMS IMPLEMENTION AND PREPAREDNESS REPORTING PERIOD HAS NOW CLOSED

Thanks to all the State, Local, Tribal and Higher Education Institutions that participated in the preparedness efforts outlined in the 2017/18 NIMS Compliance Process.   It was a great year.  The Reporting period for the 2018/19 grant cycle will open later this spring after the new 2017 NIMS rollout.

If you missed the current Reporting Period and need NIMS Certification for an outstanding grant,  Contact Pat King at the email below, or call or text at 405-694-7007 and I will be happy to set up a monitoring visit to meet compliancy requirements.

State, Local, Tribal Agencies and Jurisdictions seeking additional questions about the NIMS implementation and Preparedness report must contact Pat King via email: pat.king@okohs.ok.gov

According to Grant Programs Directorate, Grantees will continue to report annually on their adoption and implementation of NIMS.  The NIMS Assessment continues to be updated each year to allow users the ability to provide a more accurate reflection of NIMS implementation within their jurisdictions and to request any tools,  training, or guidance that may be helpful in advancing their implementation of NIMS

Participating sub-grantees who do not participate in required annual reporting may be subject to NIMS monitoring by OKOHS prior to release of DHS Preparedness Grant funds.

Documents required for Compliance Monitoring include:

1.  Current Formal NIMS Adoption
2.  Response Standard Operation Procedures / Guidelines
3.  Documented Training Requirements for Employees/Volunteers
4.  Emergency Operation / Mitigation Plans (School District / County / Municipality as required)
5.  Resource Inventory (deployable mutual aid resources only)
