Working together with stakeholders to accomplish a mission – being able to call a stakeholder and them being willing to take your call.
In your role, how do you educate people about public health?
Working together in collaboration allows me to learn and share what I do with everyone I encounter; so I start with sharing my passion for what I do with every new employee.
What is the most rewarding experience you have had in Public Health?
People – People who allowed me to learn and grow, affording me more respect I could ever deserve.
What advice would you give to someone interested in a career in public health?
If you would like to leave a positive footprint in your community and/or state, public health will give you that opportunity. No one may ever know what you have done, but some day when you are older and you look in the mirror, you will know you have played a part in improving this state.
