New Emergency Rules for Licensure and Certification Renewals Enacted at OAC 310:2-310-3-8: Pandemic emergency rules, effective May 14, 2020:
All occupational and professional licenses which would have expired in the period after 3/15/2020 have been extended and will remain valid without late fee or penalty until fourteen (14) days following the termination of the Governor of Oklahoma’s COVID-19 emergency executive order.
A summary of the new emergency rules may be read here.
This order currently applies to the following Consumer Health Service programs:
Occupational licenses may still be renewed as normal during this emergency if the licensee wishes.
During this period, only those which would have expired during the specific emergency period remain valid and do not accumulate late fees, e.g. a license which expired 3/1/2020 and has not yet been renewed is not valid and late fees would still apply.
The license expiration date will not change once the emergency is over and the license is eventually renewed. The days which elapse under this executive order are still part of the license year during which the license expired.
