Getting Your Flu Shot Now Is More Important Than Ever
COVID-19 Means You Need a Flu Vaccine
There Are Many Places To Get Your Flu Shot
Where you get your flu shot this year may need to change due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many places follow strict guidelines to create a safe environment for you.
Insured or Not, There Are Ways to Get Affordable or Free Flu Shot
Children 18 years or younger: uninsured, underinsured, SoonerCare, American Indian or Alaska Native
Children who meet at least one of the above criteria are eligible to receive free federally-funded Vaccines For Children (VFC) vaccine. They are able to receive a free flu shot at health care providers enrolled in the VFC program, including local county health departments and community health centers (CHC).
If you don't have health insurance, you may be able to get a flu shot at no out-of-pocket cost. It may be offered at some local county health departments and community health centers (CHC) across Oklahoma. Please call to check if a free flu shot is available.
Insured children and adults
With most insurance plans, you can get a flu shot for free at your health care provider or at a local pharmacy.
