Super Sitters' Class Set for Holiday Break

A "Super Sitters" Class is scheduled for novice and would-be babysitters at Children's Hospital of Oklahoma.

Scheduled during the holiday break for most students, the class is set for Friday, Dec. 28, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and is sponsored by the Oklahoma SAFE KIDS Coalition, a program of the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

Course content will include an introduction to CPR, first aid, child safety, child development and tips on starting a babysitting business. Certificates will be awarded to participants upon successful completion of the class.

The class is open to youths 11 to 14 years old, and will be limited to 25 participants. Cost is $20 and includes all materials and snacks. Participants should bring a sack lunch.
