Car Seats

Keeping kids safe in the car is very important. There are convertible seats, combination seats, booster seats — even seats with cup holders and special detachable pillows. In Oklahoma children are required to be placed in a car seat or appropriate child restraint device until age 12.

The Murray County Health Department offers car seats to participants who meet eligibility guidelines. Murray County also offers free installation and and free check ups if you already have a child restraint and want it checked or installed. We have a certified CPS Technician who will educate and instruct you on how to properly install a child restraint.

Please note car seats are provided based on availability.
