The mission of Cotton County Consumer Health Service is to protect the health of consumers and prevent disease through the licensing, inspecting, and monitoring of multiple professional, occupational and business programs.  There are two Oklahoma State Department of Health divisions that oversee these programs.  The Occupational Licensing Division primarily focuses on the administrative license process for programs while the Consumer Health Service is responsible for inspections and compliance.
