Katie Buck, APRN-CNP

Katie Buck is a nurse practitioner at the Cleveland County Health Department in Norman and McClain County Health Department in Purcell and Blanchard. Katie Buck grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She fell in love with Norman when she attended The University of Oklahoma graduating in 2007, with her Bachelors in Nursing.  Katie worked as in RN in Oncology and was nationally certified as an OCN.  She went back to The University of Oklahoma to pursue her Masters degree, graduating with special distinction from OU in 2014 as a Family Nurse Practitioner.  Katie enjoys working in Women’s Health and is particularly committed to client education.  In her spare time, Katie enjoys being out of doors, listening to live music and travelling.  

 

Amber Guthrie, APRN-CNP

Amber Guthrie is a nurse practitioner at the Cleveland County Health Department in Moore and Murray County Health Department in Sulphur. She graduated from Pauls Valley High School in 1996 and continued her education at East Central University in Ada. In 2000, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Amber spent nearly 10 years as a recovery room RN at OU Medical Center and McBride Orthopedic Hospital. In 2010, she completed the family nurse practitioner program at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX and earned her Master of Science in Nursing. Amber likes to travel, hike, fish, and is an avid runner. She currently lives in Newcastle with her husband and dog.

 

April Jewell, APRN-CNP

April Jewell is from Norman Oklahoma and is a Nurse Practitioner at the Cleveland County Health Department at both Norman and Moore offices.  She graduated from Norman High School in 1998.  She pursued her degree in Nursing in 2004.  She began her career in Pediatrics at OU Medical Center and in Women’s Health at Norman Regional Hospital.  Her love for the community led her to the Health Department.  April practiced as an RN and served as the Supervisor for the Children First program for 11 years.  In 2016, she obtained her Masters of Science degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Graceland University in Kansas City, Missouri.  April enjoys crossfit, running, hiking, and camping in her free time. 

 

 Stacee Smiddy, APRN-CNP, IBCLC

Stacee Smiddy is a nurse practitioner at the Cleveland County Health Department in Norman and Garvin County Health Department in Pauls Valley. Stacee Smiddy grew up close to the panhandle of Oklahoma and Texas.  She graduated from Waynoka, Oklahoma.  She earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2007 from Northwestern Oklahoma State University.  She took her first job in Women’s Health right after graduation and has had a passion for serving women since.  Stacee earned her Masters of Science in Nursing specializing in Women’s Health in 2013 from the University of Cincinnati. She is also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE).  Stacee is dedicated to educate women to understand their bodies and to help them make the best decision for themselves throughout their childbearing years. In her spare time, she enjoys running, quilting, and gardening.
