Oklahoma Project LAUNCH

The health and prosperity of Oklahoma families and communities require an investment in the physical and emotional health of our young children.  Funded by a federal initiative through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Oklahoma Project LAUNCH (Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children's Health) is partnering with Rogers County Health Department and many community partners to pilot new ways to promote young child wellness.

Purpose of Oklahoma Project LAUNCH

  • Promote the wellness of young children ages birth through 8 years by addressing the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral aspects of their development
  • Improve coordination across child-serving systems, build infrastructure, and increase access to high-quality prevention and wellness promotion services for children and their families
