The quality and effectiveness of state government is largely dependent upon the time citizens such as yourself are willing to give to serve on the many boards and commissions that oversee our state agencies. Your interest in making a difference in helping to improve the accountability and efficiency of state government is appreciated by the people of Oklahoma.
As you begin the process of submitting your application, you will be guided through a series of steps. Please know that the personal information that is gathered in the application (i.e. social security number and driver's license number) is encrypted and secured. Once you begin the process of filling out your application, you will have 14 days to return and complete the application if you are unable to complete the application in one session. You must at least log in at some point during that 14 day period if you wish to make any changes to your application prior to submitting or it will be removed from the database and you will need to start a new application. Please note that once you submit your application, you will no longer be able to access your application and if any changes need to be made to your application post submission, you will need to contact a member of the Governor's Appointments staff. At the end of the application, you can select which boards, commissions or task forces you are interested in being considered for appointment.
