FIRE EXTINGUISHER INDUSTRY LICENSING

Effective October 1, 2023: All new Individual License holders will be required to submit with the initial application proof of ICC-NAFED certification(s) in all desired licensed categories and passing Rules and Regulations test scores from an Oklahoma Career Tech (vo-tech).

Effective January 1, 2024: All current Individual License holders will be required to obtain and submit proof of ICC-NAFED certification(s) in the desired license categories with the renewal application.

TESTING/CERTIFICATIONS PER CATEGORY

Portable Fire Extinguisher

Contact a technology center test site to make an appointment for testing.  A list of technology centers is available at www.okhcp.com under the State Fire Marshal tab.
You will need to present valid identification issued by a U.S. government entity.
No codebooks, notes or other loose documents may be brought into the testing facility - resources will be collected by the test site coordinator.
