Lee Slater became Executive Director of the Oklahoma Ethics Commission on May 1, 2013, following 25 years in the private practice of law in Oklahoma City. Before that, Slater served 18 years as Secretary of the Oklahoma State Senate and Secretary of the Oklahoma State Election Board. He began his professional career as a reporter and editor for newspapers in Clinton, Mangum, Edmond and Tulsa. Slater holds a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Oklahoma, a master of business administration degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and a juris doctor degree from Oklahoma City University.
Ashley Kemp is the Deputy Director of the Oklahoma Ethics Commission where she has served since April 2013. She has previously served as General Counsel to the House of Representatives, Deputy General Counsel to the Oklahoma Health Care Authority, and Assistant General Counsel to the Oklahoma Tax Commission. Ashley graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2004.
Geoffrey Long is the General Counsel to the Oklahoma Ethics Commission since August 2014. Prior to this, Mr. Long most recently served as Public Policy Director and Assistant Attorney General at the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office. He has also served as Assistant General Counsel to the Commissioners of the Land Office and Assistant General Counsel to the Oklahoma Tax Commission. Geoffrey graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2008.
Roberta, also known as Bert, joined the Ethics Commission staff in September of 2013. She has received an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Her career has been primarily in the private legal sector and is also a former State of New Mexico employee having worked in the 9th Judicial District for two District Judges. She has been employed with the State of Oklahoma since July of 2008.
Pamela Williams is the Compliance Officer at the Oklahoma Ethics Commission serving since August of 2014. She previously served the State of Oklahoma since 2001 as a Graphic Artist at the Oklahoma State Election Board and then as the Information Technology Coordinator at the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. Prior to that she spent several years in the private sector in administration and advertising. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma and additional studies at Oklahoma State University in Police Science/Forensic Science.
