NOTICE: The following procedures are in effect for the August 25, 2020 Runoff Primary Elections.
Due to the governor’s COVID-19 state of emergency that was in effect 45 days prior to the Runoff Primary Election, Senate Bill 210 provides an alternate option for absentee voter verification.
For standard absentee ballot affidavits (yellow stripe), the affidavit may be notarized OR the voter may submit a copy of a valid ID.
For “physically incapacitated” absentee ballot affidavits (pink stripe) or caretaker absentee ballot affidavits (pink stripe), the affidavit may be witnessed by two people OR the voter may submit a copy of a valid ID.
HOW TO VERIFY AN ABSENTEE BALLOT AFFIDAVIT
First — Read the Instructions for Voting by Absentee Ballot enclosed in your absentee ballot packet.
Second – Read the COVID-19 Supplemental Instructions enclosed in your absentee ballot packet.
Third – Choose one of the following:
Follow the absentee voter verification instruction #4 on the Instructions for Voting by Absentee Ballot sheet enclosed with your absentee ballot packet.

The following forms of identification are acceptable under Oklahoma law:
