Davidson graduated from the 38th OHP Academy in June 1980. Throughout his years of service with the Highway Patrol, Davidson has held assignments in Cleveland and Oklahoma Counties, Executive Security, Internal Affairs and Special Investigations, Internal Audits and Inspections, Safety Education, Public Information, and has served as Human Resources director, Legislative liaison, director of Training as well as Motorcycle Safety and Education Program administrator. He has also served as zone commander for numerous field, turnpike and special service troops.
