Firearms Standards

Beginning on January 26, 2008, all CLEET certified peace officers are required to meet certain firearms requalification standards. Officers must attain a qualifying score of not less than seventy percent (70% or 72 points) utilizing their primary duty handgun.

                              Firearms Requalification Certificate
This is to certify that _______________________,successfully completed annual
handgun firearms requalification on ___________________ and is therefore in
compliance with the requirements established by Administrative Rules 390:27-1-1
through 390:27-1-6 of the Oklahoma Council on Law Enforcement Education and
Training. The bearer of this card who also satisfies all other requirements of the
Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004 (H.R. 218) may be authorized to
carry concealed firearms subject to the authority of the act.
