Major Brent Jones
- Major Brent Jones started with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol in 1995, graduating from the 48th Patrol Academy. His first assignment was Troop F, Garvin County Detachment. He also served as a criminal interdictor and police service dog handler in Troop SO, Special Operations, Interstate 35 South Team. He later served as a personal protection detail trooper in Troop ES, Executive Security. His last trooper assignment was as an investigator in Troop Z, Investigations.
- He was promoted to lieutenant in 2008 and continued working in Troop Z, Investigations. He later served as a threat assessment investigator in Troop LS, Legislative Security.
- He was promoted to captain in in 2018 and served as troop commander in Troop K, which encompassed Kay, Noble, Osage, Pawnee, and Payne Counties. He later served as the detail leader for Troop ES, Executive Security.
- He was promoted to major in 2021 and currently serves as the Zone 5 Commander, which consist of Troop ES, Executive Security, Troop O, Aircraft Division, Troop SO, Special Operations, and Troop T, Training.
