Coronavirus - COVID-19 Information

*You can find additional information on COVID-19 under our RESOURCES tab*

The Oklahoma Board of Chiropractic Examiners in an effort to avoid uninterrupted services to the general public has developed a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP).  We will be able to continue to carry out services to the general public during and after an incident that disrupts normal operations of our agency.  We have taken measures to ensure that the mission of the Oklahoma Board of Chiropractic Examiners is fully executed in order to ensure the public’s health, safety and welfare are protected.  In the event our agency has to close our doors due to reducing the impact of Coronavirus-COVID-19 to keep staff and the general public protected, we will maintain those operations that we are able to through our ability to telework.  We will do our very best to continue to work at a 100% capacity with our available resources to provide sufficient services to the general public.

Please also note that in the event the postal service is affected you can still renew your license online and that will be available for access 24/7, and in the event that the agency does have to close for a period of time this may be the best option for you to renew online to ensure your renewal is timely.  If you do not remember your login you will need to reestablish that accordingly by following the steps to recoup the Username.  The password you used last year has expired and as a friendly reminder, those expire every 90 days.  Once you have completed the online renewal you will receive an email that the license is on hold until staff performs an audit on your CE credit and has received proof of malpractice.  Once those have been audited you will receive another email that your license has been renewed and you can print off the renewal.  We recommend having additional copies so you can avoid having to log in each time to print for credentialing agencies and to post in your office as well.  We are also encouraging those to renew early if you have already completed license renewal requirements.  This will allow us to process those renewals quickly and we will not have a backup of license renewals to process.  This greatly helps out our staff of one that processes license renewals.

The Oklahoma Board of Chiropractic Examiners along with other State agencies will continue to work with other state and local government agencies to provide information to all licensees and the general public as we receive information on the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  We encourage you as healthcare providers to continue to communicate with staff on proper sanitary measures as well as communication to the patients you see in your clinics.  You can access further information at the Oklahoma State Department of Health’s website.  In addition to visiting the State Department of Health’s website the Call Center number and hours are being provided to further assist in questions, you or your patients may have regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19).
