Jeff Mapes serves as president of Woods County Abstract Corporation in Alva, Oklahoma. Jeff graduated from Oklahoma State University with a chemical engineering degree in 1987. He has had very diverse career experiences, having served in the Oklahoma Army National Guard for thirty years and as a chemical engineer at Dow Chemical for several years. During his career at Woods County Abstract, he has served on the Oklahoma Land Title Association board and is an American Land Title Association member. He enjoys working alongside his wife, Michelle, and father-in-law Carl, daily. Jeff and Michelle have two daughters, Courtney and Cathy. He currently resides in Alva, where he is regularly active in both community and church. Outside of the abstract office, Jeff enjoys farming and ranching in Northwest Oklahoma.

Darla Ringo was born and raised in Sayre, Oklahoma and was raised in the Beckham County Abstract office. She started working officially when she was 15 years old and worked at Sayre until she graduated Sayre High School. Upon graduation, she transferred to Cordell and starting working at Washita County Abstract in 1982. She has been at Washita County ever since and now manages Cordell Abstract. She is married to Jeff Ringo and they have one son, Max and their daughter in law McKenzie and granddaughter Kennedy.

Rex is employed with Smith Brothers Abstract. He has worked as an abstractor for over 35 years in several different counties. He grew up in Denver, Colorado, and moved to Oklahoma after high school to attend college. He was graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Leadership in Business Administration, and Management. He lives in rural Osage County with his wife, Hillary, and they have three grown children.

He has been active in the Oklahoma Land Title Association serving on the Legislative and Education committees. Randy graduated from Oral Roberts University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.

Sue Ann Loggains has been in the title business since 1988 when her mother and sister purchased a company in in Leflore County. Upon receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Northeastern State University, she accepted a job in the family business full time. She started at the bottom filing book and pages on her summer breaks and worked into managing payroll, along with everything in between. This broad spectrum of work over the years has given Sue Ann a complete picture of the development and workings of a title plant. She is currently closing transactions at a second company the Adams Family purchased in Latimer County and enjoys serving the customers of Leflore and Latimer Counties with their title needs. She has served on the board of the Oklahoma Land Title Association and the Poteau Chamber of Commerce. She is married to her grade school crush- Joseph Loggains and they have two grown children whom both work in the family business. Her hobbies include kayaking, camping, hiking and a small bit of gardening.

Scott Ward is the Co-Owner of Mary Terry & Assocites LLC in Ada Oklahoma. He grew up as a pastors kid moving around from East Tennessee, Houston, Fort Worth, and East Texas, when he finally settled in Ada, Oklahoma in 2001. Ada then quickly became his home town where he put down roots and started his family. His wife Elizabeth and Scott have 3 wonderful boys; Baylor who is 14, Andy who is 5, and Aaron who is 11 months old. They are proud and active members of Grace Christian Fellowship church, where Scott serves on the board of trustees and chairman of the deacons. He received his real estate license and began working for Mary Terry & Associates 2005. Shortly afterwards in 2008 he received his brokers license, and became co-owner and managing broker of Mary Terry & Associates in 2009. He has been also active in both local and state real estate associations, and has held several positions of leadership over the years. Specifically, he was the chairman of Oklahoma Realtors Young Professional Network, which received an award from The National Association of Realtors in 2017 for network of the year. It has been his pleasure serving and helping the people of his community with their real estate needs.

Darin Kent became the Oklahoma City Metro Market President of Regent Bank in June 2012. He started the market from scratch and has grown it to two locations and $200 million in assets. Darin moved to Oklahoma in 2004 and spent nearly 8 years as Senior Vice President with Citizens Bank of Edmond. He received both a Bachelor of Science and Master’s Degree from Missouri State University, where he was a four-year letterman, all-conference selection and a member of the Missouri Valley All-Centennial Team as a diver. He was class President and an honors graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado and has served as the Alumni Director for the state of Oklahoma.
Darin has been on the Edmond Chamber of Commerce Board for over a decade, including being Chairman in 2013. He is a past President and 12-year board member of the Fine Arts Institute of Edmond and current Trustee for the Edmond Public School Foundation Board. Darin is also a director for the Oklahoma Foundation of Excellence Board and President Elect of the Visit Edmond Board. He is also a current member of the Rotary Club 29, a Leadership Oklahoma City Class 33 participant, the 2014 and 2015 Chairman for the Edmond Chamber’s Total Resource Campaign, a volunteer baseball coach and President of the King Marlin Swim Club Booster Board.
Darin married his wife Tyler in May 2004, and they have a daughter (Ryan) and a son (Drew).

Previous to coming to the Abstractors Board, Katherine managed the Oklahoma Land Title Association from 2008 to 2015. Previous to that, she was involved in commercial real estate, overseeing operations in Oklahoma and Arkansas for a division of Trammell Crow Company. Except for a minor detour of 4 years in Colorado, she is a life-long resident of Oklahoma and currently resides in Edmond.
