A “Rowdy” Event Scheduled at the State Capitol

State employees will receive an entertaining treat as the Oklahoma RedHawks’ official mascot, “Rowdy”, will appear on the first floor of the State Capitol on Thursday, May 31st from 11 AM to 1 PM.   The appearance kicks off a two-day celebration in honor of state employees that culminates in the fourth annual “State Employee Night at the Brick”. The event features the Oklahoma RedHawks vs. the Salt Lake City Bees at 7:05 PM on June 1st.

“This is the second year I have turned out to meet and greet state employees at the Capitol,” said Rowdy RedHawk. “It is a fun time that helps get everyone ROWDY for the game!”

The annual event is sponsored by OK.gov, Oklahoma’s official Web site, found online at www.OK.gov. State employees and their families have been invited to attend the game free of charge by OK.gov.

As part of the pre-game Capitol event, state employees have a chance to enter to win prize packages with items from various Bricktown restaurants, Bricktown vendor promotional items and OK.gov merchandise. State employees will also be able to pick up coupons at the State Capitol event.
