State Web site to Host Survey to Better Understand Needs of Oklahoma Citizens

Citizens Have the Ability to Shape Government Online

OKLAHOMA CITY - September 29, 2006 - Oklahoma government is about democracy, and OK.gov is the state Web site devoted to providing the democratic system online. During the month of October, OK.gov, in conjunction with the Made In Oklahoma (MIO) Coalition, will be conducting a survey to further identify the needs of Oklahoma citizens in regard to online government.

Oklahomans will be able to provide feedback to OK.gov about what kind of content and services they would like to see on the face of the state's official Web site. Citizens will also be able to supply the MIO Coalition with feedback on MIO products. By completing the survey, the public will be automatically entered to win one of four Made In Oklahoma gift baskets.

The gift baskets are valued at $90 and include non-perishable items such as Griffin's mustard, Shawnee Mills Pancake mix, and free coupons for fresh Made In Oklahoma items. By taking part in this study, citizens of Oklahoma are supporting Oklahoma and that's "Good for You! Good for Oklahoma!"
